Darby is a native Detroiter who is currently studying User Experience Design at The College for Creative Studies. A veteran of the Army National Guard, he is passionate about veterans' issues and their rights. He has organized internships for armed service veterans in the live event production industry through his work with O.U.R. Vets nonprofit organization. He can be found enjoying nature no matter the season. In the summer, he can be found on the tennis courts or hiking in the great outdoors. In the winter, he can be found sliding down a mountain on his snowboard. His musical tastes are quite diverse - he'll listen to anything from classical to dubstep. Darby has been working with HeadCount to register voters since 2019. He is a strong believer in the democratic process and empowering others.
