Kate won’t lie…the music is what first drew her in when she joined HeadCount after moving to Denver in 2018. However, once she registered a middle-aged, first-time voter on vacation at Red Rocks who looked at her square in the eye and said, “It’s time,” she was hooked! In her opinion, there are few things more patriotic than empowering voters to participate in democracy. And the sweet melody of your favorite band is just the cherry on top! By day she’s a scientist, but by night you can catch her dancing to her favorite bands like Phish, Greensky Bluegrass, and The Infamous Stringdusters, just to name a few. When she’s not doing either of those things, you can find her outside doing basically anything and everything to not be inside. Now she’s Team Leading Florida.
