The modern concert festival has many faces. From the pop/indy rock grandeur of Lollapalooza to the dark Livetronica of Camp Bisco, there's now something for everyone. But no live music event has maintained the pure improvisational spirit of the All Good Music Festival in Masontown, WV.
It's also a home away from home for HeadCount. Back when we launched in 2004, All Good was our second most successful festival of the year (behind only Bonnaroo). Since then it's consistently remained one of our most productive and popular events for registering voters and raising social consciousness.
Last year, filmmaker Mathieu Ferguson captured HeadCount at All Good in a short video, shown here for the first time. It includes a short appearance by Al Schnier of moe., and an 0h-so-brief cameo by members of Umphrey's McGee - who were co-contestants in the finals of our "Reality Check" gameshow.
With Widespread Panic and Furthur as headliners, this year promises to be the largest and best All Good yet. If you're there, be sure to stop by the HeadCount booth to play Reality Check and try to win free tix to next year.
